It's All About

The Experience

Every Couple Is Different

It’s important that you hire a photographer you like and one that can share your vision for your day. Consider this person a friend because you will most likely be spending more time with your photographer than anyone else on that day.  Photography isn’t so much about taking pictures that make people say WOW… it’s a service. A good photographer will take good photos, a great photographer will take good photos, help you through your wedding day, solve problems you wouldn’t normally expect them to and leave you and your guests feeling really good about the whole thing.

Your wedding is about YOU. My goal is to not take over, but to be there to support you in any way I can and tell your story to the best of my ability.

Let's Meet

I highly recommend meeting in person to be much more helpful in making your decision. If you’re on Cape Cod or nearby we can certainly try for coffee. This isn’t always possible if you are planning a destination wedding so skype, zoom or facetime works well too. I want you to be sure I am a good fit for your wedding or portrait.

My Values

  • Be Original – The best way for me to stand out is to be myself. My best work will come when I am in “the zone”.
  • Put Clients First – The needs of my clients and their party are my priority.
  • Foster Happiness – Create a positive environment that enables people to be their best.
  • Exceed Expectations – Work with passion toward excellence and deliver in ways my client wouldn’t normally expect from a wedding photographer.
  • Be A Part Of The Whole – Encourage others around me and serve for the betterment of the whole wedding experience.

Frequently

Asked Questions

This is really the #1 asked question, here’s how I typically answer this. Hiring a wedding photographer based on price is an endless process. You can never be sure what you’re going to get. If wedding photos are important to you, I highly recommend talking to some photographers and seeing if they are a good fit. You are going to spend more time with that photographer on your wedding day than anyone else.

Oh yea, they are spread out in different places. You can always type Brian Miller Weddings into Google to start. I have reviews on WeddingWire and some on The Knot.

After we have a meeting via phone, video, in person or similar I will send you an electronic agreement and invoice for a down payment via an electronic payment portal. I also take checks if that works for you. I am flexible and offer payment plans.

I hope you can see from my portfolio that I am very diverse. I don’t believe one style should fit all situations. I spent many years as a commercial/editorial photographer as well as a wedding photographer.  I can adapt to almost any situation indoors and outdoors on the fly.

Yes. I provide full resolution, edited digital images from your event in an online gallery for download.

This is difficult to pinpoint exactly as it depends on how your wedding day unfolds. An average 8 hour wedding will yield between 600-800 images.

Yes, every single one is color corrected with exposure set the way I intend them to be.

I deliver all your wedding photos within 3 weeks of the event. I will get you a handful of photos within 24 hours of your event as a sneak peek. Because… who wants to wait?

You will receive your full resolution images for download. However, I typically do not provide RAW (unprocessed) files because I believe in delivering a finished product. I am often shooting with the end product in mind. However, on occasion, we may provide RAW images along with our post-produced JPG’s for an additional fee and restrictions.

Yes I do! Often times a venue will require a certificate of liability. Let me know if your venue needs my info.

Yes. I even have backup equipment for my backup equipment. I’m a nerd with this stuff and redundancy helps me sleep at night.

Each camera I use contains 2 separate memory cards so when an image is taken, it is written to both memory cards at the same time. If a card were to fail I have a second copy. When I get home from a wedding, those cards are offloaded to my computer, which is backed up to a cloud system. That cloud system is backed up overnight into the virtual cloud. I never delete my memory cards until a project is delivered. Redundancy is everyone’s friend.

I have a policy that I, or anyone working with me does not ever drink at a wedding. It is frowned upon in most venues and my reputation is extremely important to me. After the wedding? Oh yea, I would love to!

If you would like more information I am happy to share.
